Yasuhiko Okuno (Japanese)

Producer & Director of Photography

A photo and video journalist with 30 years of experience, Yasuhiko has published several photo albums on topics of the end of Apartheid in South Africa, the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake, and Paralympic athletes. He has worked with a range of organizations including Doctors without Borders, NHK World, and the International Paralympic Committee.

Mieko Saho (Japanese)

Co-Director

An author and video director with 25 years of experience in interviewing, writing and creative direction, Mieko has published several books on topics of the spiritual meaning of death, the dramatic life of a Afrikaans woman during Apartheid in South Africa, and the journey of a Japanese woman who starts an orphanage for HIV children in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Koh Okuno (Japanese)

Co-Director & Script Writer

Born in Japan, raised in Thailand, and most recently educated in the Netherlands, Koh has a multicultural background. Before joining the project earlier this year as the Assistant Director and Copywriter, Koh worked at a pan-European magazine and content production company in Amsterdam and Brussels. 

Leelaa Selakun (Thai / Canadian)

Communications Manager

Raised in Montreal, Canada, Leelaa moved to Thailand in 2018. Since then, she has worked in several industries gaining a variety of work experience. Most recently, she worked as a volunteer staff at Elephant Nature Park before she joined our project as a communication manager.

Aumphon Sripruek (Thai)

Videographer

After producing numerous documentaries and TV programs in Thailand and Laos for several years after college, Aumphon joined K.M. Tomyam in 2016. Since then, he has helped produce most of the company’s various contracted content.

Alongkorn Tanundet (Thai)

Webmaster

Interested in computers and programming, Alongkorn joined K.M. Tomyam in 2020 after graduating from college the year before. As a webmaster, he creates the websites for the company’s various projects: Kimono Reborn, NHK spring, Unspoken Souls, and more.

Jarunee Thewin (Thai)

Project coordination

A video editor and coordinator with 10 years of experience in TV programs in Thailand, she joined our team as a project coordinator in early 2022.

Frank Lange (American)

Researcher

As a writer and photographer with over 30 years of business experience in East and Southeast Asia and degrees in International Relations and Asian Studies, Frank is supporting the project with contemporary and historical research. In addition to our project, he is currently working on research projects in Bangkok and Japan. 

Patamon Nisabodee (Thai)

Graphic Designer

A visual designer with over 10 years of experience, Patamon runs her own design company in Bangkok. She is also the founder of a seasonally selected art gallery that provides various artistic services. She recently joined our team to spearhead our graphic designs.
